Recreation Leader I - All Areas

Job Summary: Under the direction of a supervisor, assists in administering activities related to assigned recreation program areas such as: special events, facility rentals, adults and youth sports, and or other duties as assigned. Incumbent must be available to work evenings and weekends. Working under the supervision of a Recreation Supervisor, will work at one or more of our facilities. There are a variety of areas for Recreation Leaders to work: Referee for youth flag football, Sports Programs for youth, teens, & adults, Day Camp Counselor, Facility Hosting, Score Keeper and/or assisting with Special Events. Leaders would be responsible for completing their assigned tasks specific to the job. Schedule will vary and hours are not guaranteed on a weekly or monthly basis.'

Park Aide

POSITION SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, performs general and semi-skilled construction and maintenance tasks in and around District parks, buildings, and facilities in compliance with established maintenance and safety standards. Cleaning park bathrooms, opening and closing parks, assisting with District special events, pulling trash, work order data entry, working with the community, enforcing District policies, etc. Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must.

Senior Recreation Leader – Special Events, Programming, and Outreach

Job Summary: Under the direction of Recreation Supervisor, assists in planning and administering activities related to assigned recreation program areas with an emphasis in special events, programming, and outreach. Additional program areas may include sports, preschool, summer and specialty youth camps, seniors, facility rentals, independent contractos, and or other duties as assigned. Incumbent must be flexible in their schedule and have availability to work evenings and weekends at varying parks/facilities. The schedule will vary and hours are not guaranteed on a weekly or monthly basis.
