        Eureka Chinatown Project Program Coordinator

        Position Summary: The Program Coordinator will manage the Eureka Chinatown Project, an initiative of Humboldt Asians & Pacific Islanders in Solidarity (HAPI), to honor the history and culture of the first Chinese people in Humboldt County, California.

        Wage: $30 to $40/hour depending on experience and qualifications.

        Location: This is a hybrid position. Some work will be done remotely, but an in-person presence is required at all events, public meetings, and meetings with civic groups, non-profit organizations, and HAPI. The in-person events are generally in Eureka and Arcata, California, and can be as often as a few times per week.

        Work Hours and Schedule: Approximately 16-20 hours per week for two years, with a possibility of extending beyond two years. Hours are flexible during the work week, and some weeks may require more hours and some weeks fewer.

        Supervisors: The Program Coordinator will coordinate work with a team of three HAPI Directors. HAPI is a DreamMaker project of the Ink People Center for Arts and Culture, and the Coordinator’s employment will be with the Ink People.
