Position: Scenic Charge Artist

Compensation: Hourly rate, Dependent Upon Experience $24-$28/hr

Type: Ongoing contract: 80-120 hrs per project. Potential full-time opportunity.

Reports to: Technical Director or Production Manager

Summary:

The scenic charge artist is responsible for planning and executing all painted and sculptural elements of theatrical scenery, maintaining the paint shop, and working within the department to determine best approaches to each project. This position requires both artistic and technical knowledge to achieve high-quality theatrical finishes.
